OFFSHORE FISHING REPORT - 27th June 2015 - Durban

OFFSHORE FISHING REPORT - 27th June 2015 - Durban
The whales are out in full force, also saw many sprats around. Water is cold but not as cold as I expected. This had to be the coldest day I had on the water in a very long time. The weather forecast a strong NE wind for the whole day, but in reality we had a pleasant NW wind and sea conditions were great, the NE only started at about 12h30 and we got back at 14h00. I was already home by the time the wind started blowing hard so was pleased the weatherman got it wrong. At last we found some small Tuna after the last few trips of not even seeing Tuna, and on the way back we got a small bonnie whilst clearing the lines.
