FISHING REPORT - Durban - 26th September 2014

FISHING REPORT - Durban - 26th September 2014
We skunked today with only 1 on/off from a small fish. Water was green and cold, I travelled further than we normally do to try find good water, we went 55km offshore in 1100m of water doing about 130km round trip launching at 04h00 and back in port by 12h00. Until 10h00 the weather was fantastic and sea condition awesome and then the NE started blowin...g and got stronger pretty fast and was around 20knots by the time we were back at the docks with the last 10m of our trip getting bumpy. The current was a screaming S-N reverse current. Out in the deep birds were plenty and very active, we also saw a large pod of Pygmy Dolphins out on the 1000m and some whales on the 400m.
